Passport Validity
The Immigration department in St Lucia is responsible for issuing passports. Since 2025, the government has started issuing 10 year passports increasing the validity from 5yrs. The passport issued under citizenship-by-investment programme for adults is valid for 10 years. After expiry it can be renewed in St.Lucia or at embassies worldwide.
United States
Saint Lucians require a valid visa to enter United States. Immigrant visas are suspended by state department. Eligble for non-immigrant visas.
Canada
A Visa is required for Canada, unless St Lucians who had a canada visa in the past or valid US non-immigrant visa qualify for Canada ETA
United Kingdom and Ireland
Since 2026, Citizens of Saint Lucia require a valid visa to visit United Kingdom including Air transit visa for transiting passengers.
