Saint Lucia issues 10-year e-passports to Citizenship by Investment (CIP) applicants. The passport issuance is the last and final step after citizenship is granted under CIP. The authorized agent will submit the application on behalf of client to the immigration office. New passports are issued for 10 years starting Aug 5, 2025.

Applicants under the CIP generally do not need to visit Saint Lucia to receive citizenship or collect the passport. The authorized agent coordinates the process and can arrange secure delivery of the citizenship certificate and passport.
Biometric Collection
Biometrics can be captured in-person in Castries, Saint Lucia, or at consulates or through approved overseas biometric centers.

- Marriage certificate.
Parent or guardian must sign the passport application for children under 16.
Process
- Application submitted through an authorized agent.
- Due diligence and processing by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
- Approval in Principle (Letter of Approval) issued.
- Investment completed (donation, real estate, enterprise, or government bonds).
- Certificate of Registration/Naturalization issued after the government confirms the investment.
- Oath or affirmation (where required under current procedures).
- Passport application submitted to the Immigration Department.
- Passport issued and delivered through the authorized agent.
Renewals
Renewal of passport can be done at any St lucia consulates abroad or through an authorized person in St.Lucia. No investment required.
