  • The police certificate should be no more than six months old. If you are unable to obtain a police certificate, please provide an explanation to the authorities.
  • Police certificates are not required for qualifying dependents below the age of sixteen (16) years.

Police certificates must be produced in original and must be notarized, authenticated, and apostilled.

Police certificates from Embassies or Consulates who are not authorised to issue criminal clearance certificate by their own respective laws will not be accepted. In some countries, the police authorities will only send this certificate directly to the foreign government requesting the certificate. In this case, the certificate should be sent to relevant immigration department.
